Mixing Engineer | Indie, Folk-Rock, Psychedelic, Alt-Rock, Americana, Blues for $250
Formely in The Veils (Rough Trade and Warner Music), I've been mixing for 18 years, having previously worked with producers including Bernard Butler (Suede, Duffy, Liberteens) and Ken Nelson (Howling Bells, Gomez). In this time I've been involved with numerous productions for Indie, Alt-Rock, Psychedelic, Folk-Rock and Americana tracks, most recetly I've finished full production and mixing on current project Straylings' latest album (see samples).
I aim for natural but powerful mixes in the vein of someone like Craig Silvey (Sam Fender, Arcade Fire, The Coral).
I use a hybrid analogue/digital setup for my productions - Apogee A/D conversion, EMI Chandler and API preamps, and Yamaha monitoring. As well as a full suite of Universal Audio and Slate plugins.
The per track pricing includes 2 revisions, but I do want the client to be totally happy with the final result, so we can talk more if needed. I can usually get a first mix back to you within 10 days of receiving the tracks, depending on current schedule.
